1. Quairading Pink Lake - Australia
The Quairading Pink Lake is known for the natural phenomenon that makes this lake unique. Located east of the city on Bruce Rock Road, only a two-hour drive from Perth. The lake is uninhabited and with alkaline water as high as pH 10.5, it is so caustic that it can burn the skin and eyes of animals that are not well adapted to it. But, some animal species are capable of surviving in this habitat, including invertebrates and microorganisms. However, if you want to enjoy a walk, the trails lead from the lake to the Engero Sero waterfalls, which flow over rough cliffs into a natural pool.
